A town is incomplete without a Hammam
"Sherazade, A Thousand and One Nights"
Hammam opened its doors in 2007 as the first Moroccan version of the Turkish Bath in South East Asia
Hammam means ‘Spreader of Warmth’ in Arabic and has its origins deep in ancient Greek-Roman bathhouse culture. It’s a practice which has charmed and influenced thousands from different cultures throughout history. Since its inception, the Hammam has been a gathering place, to relax, socialise, build connections, even to do business, and to celebrate life events like bridal parties, baby showers and birthdays.
It was the original social network site. This very important social element in the Hammam has remained largely unchanged to this day.
Beauty and well being is subtly incorporated into its rituals that help purify the mind, body and spirit. The precious and nourishing relationship between our bodies and water is revived as we awaken our natural instincts to reconnect spiritually with other beings through water’s life giving properties.
